Rainforest (2009) for solo piano, was performed in Portland, OR, by pianist Matthew Grossman, at the Cascadia Composers In Just Spring Festival of New Music.

May 2010

The World of Dew for chamber orchestra (2010) was performed by the Mission Chamber Orchestra on Sunday afternoon, May 23, at 3 pm at St. Mark's Episcopalian Church, 600 Colorado Ave., Palo Alto CA.

April 2009

Rainforest for piano (2009) was performed by pianist Miles Graber on Sunday afternoon, April 26, at 3 pm at Foothill Presbyterian Church, San Jose CA.

November 2008

Dream for piano (2002) was performed by pianist LaDene Otsuki on Saturday evening, November 8, at 8 pm at the Palo Alto Art Center, Embarcadero and Newell, Palo Alto, CA.

November 2007

My musical compositions are recently featured on two art works:

(1) Dream for piano (2002), written for Jirawuth Vipatchanonkij, was featured on the Radio Metropolitana di Bologna program Radio Daniele as part of a sonic collage by artist Simon Leung, and was played on Radio Bologna in Italy May 2, 2007 and then in Zurich on Radio LoRa during Summer 2007.

(2) Poe, by Simon Leung, uses Reminiscence for piano (1987), written in memory of Jeff Hardcastle, as the accompaniment to a video composition created at the former residences of Edgar Allan Poe. More information here.
